Iran animation ‘The Secret of Butterflies’ creates film score

Film score for Iran 3D animated film ‘The Secret of Butterflies’ directed by Ali Tanhaee has been created.

The score was jointly made by Mohammad Maleki-Asl and Vahid Nikdel, a media report said Saturday.

The theme of the 80-minute adventure/comedy is about self-esteem. The story centers on an insect named ‘Brownie’ wishing to be transformed into a butterfly as metamorphosis in the world of insects is considered a type of perfection.

The animation was completed in three years with private funding.

In 2017, the animated film won two noms for Best Film and Best Director awards at the 31st edition of International Film Festival for Children and Youth in historic Iranian city of Isfahan.
